Managing COVID-19

NEW ARRIVAL / CHECK OUT PROCESS:

1. We will ask you to wait in your car or in the lobby until you are called to come in.

2. We will check your temperature with a touchless thermometer. If your temperature is above 100F, experience any respiratory symptoms or have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVD-19 in the last 14 days,  we will ask you to reschedule your appointment.

3. Our credit card machine is compatible with touchless payments.

ENHANCED INFECTION CONTROL MEASURES: 

1. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow any updates or new guidance that may be issued by these agencies.

2. We installed a state of the art air purification technology in our HVAC system. This technology produces Hydro-Peroxide plasma that is distributed throughout the office. Unlike passive air technologies, which need pollutants to pass through the unit for purification or filtration, our air purifier sweeps through the office actively purifying pollutants at the source. The higher ionized hydroperoxide output of this technology  produces faster kill rates for microbial contaminants in the air as well as on surfaces.

3. We are equipping our dentists and hygienists with tools to reduce aerosols and are adding portable air purifiers throughout the office.

4. We are implementing daily surface and air sanitization with our new micro-fogging equipment using a disinfecting agent.
5. Our front desk is equipped with plastic barriers and our credit card machine is compatible with touchless payments.
